    Kollam is one of the oldest business centre in Kerala. Kollam beach is 2km from Kollam city. Park and a childrens park is in the beach.There is Hotels are nearby the beach. Ashtamudi Lake is  an attraction of Kollam. House boats, speed boats,pedal boats and Srvice boats are available here. Adventure Park is located on the shore of Ashtamudi Lake. Adventure Park is an attraction for children s as well as elder's. Boat service also available from here. Nearby a childrens park and Ashramam ground are located. Thankassery light house is located in Thankassery. It is an old light house, worth for watching. Neendakara Fishing harbor is also near to Kollam. It is the only fishing harbor in Kollam.

PUNALUR SUSPENSION BRIDGE

Punalur: Punalur is a city in Kollam district about 45km from Kollam city.You can reach from Kollam via Train or Road way. Punalur 75km distance from Trivandrum International Airport.Punalur is well known for the Punalur Suspension Bridge,built in 1877.The bridge was builted by a British engineer named Albert Henry. The bridge was used for transportation in older days. Now it is a archaeological monument. The bridge is made across the Kallada river. The Punalur Paper Mills Ltd is also a famous paper mills in India older days. 

Tree Top Walk, Thenmala Eco Tourism

Thenmala Eco Tourism: is located 19 Km from Punalur town, on the way to Thenkasi(Tamilnadu). This is the first Eco Tourism in India, located in Shenthuruni Wild life Sanctuary. The Eco Tourism is divided in to two Zones, the Adventure Zone and Leisure Zone.The Adventure Zone consist of many adventure rides include Trekking, Rock climbing, cycling, walk on the top of trees,river crossing and Pedal boating. The Leisure Zone consist of many monuments, Garden and a Suspension bridge also included. Near to Eco tourism, Thenmala Dam is located. There is a park also in the Dam. Kallada Hydro Electric Project is here. The Deer Park, Butterfly Park and Aquarium also nearby. 

Ottakkal Look Out,Thenmala

Ottakkal Look Out: On the way to Thenmala, there is a watch tower called Ottakkal Look Out. The view from the watch tower is an amazing one. The coolest wind,that will blow our mind. The Look out is located in NH 744.

Rose Hills: is a hill located in Aryankavu, which is a beautiful picnic center.The view of thenmala dam from rose hills is worth to watch. Also small rivers is flowing on the way to Rose Hills. The distance from Thenmala is around 25 Km.

Jadayu Rock:  in chadayamangalam is also a nice picnic spot. Distatance of 50km from Trivandrum and 25km from Punalur city.
